Support
Have a question? Email [email protected]. For faster help, include the Device ID from Settings › Pro & about › Device ID (on a TV: the Device code in Settings) and your device model. Never send us your IPTV account password; we don't need it.
Important: LA Player provides no content and does not sell IPTV service. For questions about your channel list, stream quality or account expiry, contact your own provider.
1. Adding an IPTV account
- Open the app and tap Add IPTV account (later: Settings › IPTV accounts).
- Optionally give it a name, then enter the Server URL from your provider (e.g.
http://example.com:8080), your Username and Password. - Tap Connect and save; your details are checked and saved. The list loads on open; later launches show it instantly from cache and update it in the background.
You can add several IPTV accounts and switch between, edit or remove them under Settings › IPTV accounts. On a TV, select the account under IPTV accounts in Settings and choose Use this account, Edit or Delete.
2. Quality and channel merging
Different qualities of the same channel are grouped into one channel. Pick a quality with the quality button in the player; your choice is remembered for that channel. Next time the channel starts instantly at low quality, then switches seamlessly to your choice. To turn grouping off, disable Settings › IPTV accounts › Merge identical channels.
3. Audio & subtitle matching (Pro)
Under Settings › Playback › Audio and subtitle languages, pick the audio languages you want, the ones you don't, and required subtitles. Movies and series then show a badge in the top-right corner of the poster: green ✓ (matches), yellow – (unknown), red ✕ (doesn't match). Tap the badge to see why. Without preferences, no badges are shown.
4. Multiview (Pro)
Use the multiview icon on the home screen to open 2, 3 or 4 tiles and put any channel, movie or episode in each. Pick side by side, stacked, big + small and other arrangements with the Layout button in the top bar; drag the lines between tiles to resize them, and long-press a tile and drag it onto another to swap them. If the menu is hidden, long-press the screen. Every tile uses one connection at your provider; if your account doesn't allow enough simultaneous connections, some tiles won't open.
5. Sync across devices (Pro)
On every phone, tablet and TV signed in with the same IPTV account (same server, username and password), your resume positions, recently watched, favorites, My List folders and followed series stay the same. Your username and password are never sent to our server; only an anonymous code derived from them is used. Turn it on or off with Settings › Privacy & history › Sync across devices; on a TV, use the Sync: On / Sync: Off button under Sync across devices in Settings. Program reminders and display settings stay per device.
6. Flight mode (Pro)
Before you board, tap Download for flight mode on a movie or episode; once finished it plays without internet. Downloads are listed under the Downloads icon on the home screen. Each download stays inside the app, cannot be exported and is deleted automatically when its retention period ends, counted from when it finishes. The default period is 7 days; the app gets the period that applies from our server, and it may change. Details are in the Terms of Use. One download runs at a time. If your account allows a single connection, the download pauses while you watch something and resumes afterwards. Use it only for content you are entitled to access.
7. Follows and notifications (Pro)
Tap the bell on a series page to follow it and get notified about new episodes. Your device checks with your own provider directly: every time the app opens and in the background every few hours while it is closed (about every 4 hours on Android; on iOS the system decides the timing and runs it more often for apps you open regularly). You are notified once your provider adds the episode to its list. On a live channel, set reminders from the Program guide (if your provider supplies guide data). Keep notification permission enabled in your device settings.
7a. Home media (Pro)
Open Home media from the home screen or Settings; use Scan network to find DLNA servers at home (for example a NAS, router or computer), or Add server to add a WebDAV, SMB or FTP server with its address, username and password. Browse folders and play videos directly. Server details are stored encrypted on your device only. SMB videos can't be played on the TV; use DLNA or WebDAV there.
7b. Sharing Pro with your TV and computer
In the app on your Pro phone, tap Settings › Pro & about › Add a TV, enter the 12-character code (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) shown on the TV or computer and tap Add TV. On a TV the code is shown as Device code in the Pro section of Settings and on the Pro screen; on a computer it is shown as Device ID under Settings › Pro & about. Your Pro is shared with up to 3 devices, for as long as your phone has Pro (at most 1 year).
To pick it up on the TV or computer, reopen the app or refresh the Pro status: on a TV, press Check Pro status in the Pro section of Settings or on the Pro screen; on a computer, click the Refresh Pro status icon on the Device ID row under Settings › Pro & about. On Android TV, Pro is a Google Play subscription, just like on phones.
8. Subscription, trial and restore
- Pro is yearly; new subscribers get a 7-day free trial. You are charged through your App Store or Google Play account.
- Cancel: on iPhone/iPad, Settings › your name › Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play › Profile › Payments & subscriptions.
- New device / reinstall: Settings › Pro & about › Restore Purchases. On Android TV the same button is on the Pro screen that Get Pro in Settings opens.
- Refunds: the store took the payment, so request refunds from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play.
9. Troubleshooting
It says "Wrong username or password" or "Couldn't connect"
Check the server URL starts with http:// and includes the port if any (e.g. :8080). Enter the details exactly as your provider gave them, without spaces. Your IPTV account may have expired.
A stream won't open or keeps freezing
The app reconnects automatically up to 5 times. If it continues, choose a lower quality, or try another device or network. On single-connection accounts, watching on another device at the same time can cut the stream.
The list is out of date
On the home screen, choose Refresh list from the ⋮ (More actions) menu and confirm, or tap Settings › IPTV accounts › Refresh list now. On a TV, press Refresh list in Settings. You can also turn on Refresh the list in the background on open under Settings › IPTV accounts.
I want to delete my watch history
Under Settings › Privacy & history, clear individual items with Edit recently watched or everything with Delete all watch history, or turn off Save recently watched to stop recording history. Use Delete watch history on a movie or series page to reset just that title.
